Since launching our apprenticeship programme in 2010, the DE Group have created countless opportunities for school leavers and graduates, individuals pursuing a change of career, and those seeking to upskill in their current job. I’ve been with DE Group for 18 months now, liaising with the demolition, sub-structures and asbestos teams. To get immersed in a large-scale project and be the site manager’s right-hand man has been an amazing learning curve. With my recently acquired NVQ qualifications, I’ve also been able to make an impact on the groundwork, which has given me so much real-world experience to apply to future projects.
